How to Use a Traction Additive
Using Clear Grip Traction Additive
First pour your choice of sealer into a bucket. Then add the traction additive and stir well with an electric drill and paint stir paddle until consistent.
Apply sealer per instructions. Use in both coats. Be sure to stir occasionally as the additive will try to slowly settle to the bottom. Also be sure to not drag your paint roller along the bottom of the paint pan to avoid clumping. Finally, ensure you use no more than recommended as the amounts are the max usable per volume.
💡 TIP: Concrete that is sealed can be slippery when wet. We recommend using grip additive outdoors. Indoors we recommend using the wax. As the wax is less slippery than the sealer alone, coupled with the fact that the grip makes it difficult to apply the wax, you may want to leave the grip for outdoors and the pool house.
